The NCA Finds the Challenges and Meets the Opportunities

Desiree Logsdon returned from the NCA Convention a few days ago. She is Vice President of Marketing for BUNN.

The National Coffee Association presented two full days of enlightening educational sessions and dynamic networking opportunities at the Boca Raton Resort. Coffee professionals from around the globe gathered to share the latest information in the industry.

Educational sessions focused on government affairs, sustainability, “seed to cup” challenges and industry data. Tea experts were on hand to present updates on relevant news in the tea industry. The Coffee Quality Institute hosted an informational breakfast and reported on the success and growth of the Q Coffee System. For the second consecutive year, the International Women’s Coffee Alliance hosted a dynamic luncheon featuring guest speaker David Neumann with the Neumann Kaffee Gruppe.

The focus of this year’s business luncheon centered on lessons the coffee industry can learn from the wine industry. Award-winning author and wine consultant, Leslie Sbrocco shared her insightful wisdom with the sell-out crowd.

Congratulations to the NCA for a successful and memorable conference.
